INTRATECQUE

Sometimes being polite and honorable just doesn't cut it. What happens....? People take your kindness for weakness and attempt to take advantage of you. Coming from New York to a place that is notoriously passive-aggressive, I tried to keep an open mind, reel in my own boisterous personality, and stay out of everyone's way. But somewhere along said way, my honest attempts at trying to help my homeboys make it in the real world, have been met with vile hatred and a misguided disrespect that could ONLY be fueled by insecurity. Politics as usual I guess. But the days of pacifying myself for the benefit of others is OVER. The days of letting subtle [sometimes not so subtle] jabs of disrespectful sh*t, roll off of my back are no more. I let you weird-ass, anti-social, pervert-pedofile roaches run around this town for the last year, feeding off of our crumbs. I'm not going to mention these rats by name because they don't have the prerequisites to qualify as relevant. or MEN for that matter. Rather, fanboys, who in their mid-30's, think it's ok to play pretend. We, or rather, I don't play those games and your rodent-like tendencies will DEFINITELY come to a screeching halt whether you like it or not. I don't have a problem with opinions. I have a problem with slimy, underhanded swine who continue to try to undermine our progress, by making inaccurate, disparaging remarks about our business. These clowns know who they are. They either riding the nuts of somebody actually doing it, working for some cornball rapper, or laying up in the bed mouth kissing their dogs. Whatever the case is, WE, really do this sh*t, and if you don't believe me, look it up. Facts are Facts, and ALL my OGs will co-sign THAT check! Luckily, you roaches are SO irrelevant, that I don't even have to waste my time. We will let the results do the talking for us.  That don't change sh*t though, so when I see you, you better have some explaining to do. More than likely, you'll just scatter away when the lights get turned on....

With that said, Porter Ray releases a casual visual presentation for "Float", a stand-out song on last year's Blk Gld EP. Shot near Lake Washington in Seattle's Leschi neighborhood, Directors Malcolm Proctor and Astro King Phoenix decide to play with some new toys, capturing the Articulate Flavor crew doing what they usually do on a rainy Saturday afternoon....Floating!  With guest cameos from Ike B, Jeezy, Pistol Pete Stoli, and Photojay, Porter Ray is beginning to paint a more accurate depiction of life on Seattle's South side. Blk Gld is still available for download/stream on Bandcamp and Sound cloud, but word on the street is that P has a new projects in the works "supposedly" scheduled for a summer release. Who knows, but for now....
